STAR WARS: Galactic Racer Beginner Guide: Your First Tour

Quick answer

Choose a vehicle and starting loadout, pick an event on the Tour map, then spend its rewards on upgrades or Parts before moving to the next node. Read each event’s failure condition: simply finishing is not enough in every event.

Single-player Tour. The crash allowance below refers to Pilot difficulty.

Swipe tables sideways to read every column.

Follow the Tour loop

  1. Choose your vehicle and starting configuration.
  2. Select an event from the route map. Check its risk and reward before committing.
  3. Complete the event and choose from the upgrades or Parts offered as rewards.
  4. Select the next node. At a planetary stop, handle equipment and repairs before continuing.

The event results screen and the ability to choose the next node are your signs that this stage is complete. If repeated crashes are ending your runs, learn a safer line before chasing speed upgrades.

Know what costs an Entry Token

Event Condition to watch
Ordinary Race on Pilot Three crashes are allowed; the fourth costs a League Entry Token. A low finishing position alone does not cost one.
Eliminator Finish in the top three.
Rival one-on-one Win the race.
Field Test Missing the target does not cost an Entry Token.

What survives a failed Tour?

When your Entry Tokens run out, the current Tour ends. Its temporary upgrades and Parts must be rebuilt on another run. Tuning Points, Kit Points and unlocked Styles and Favors persist.

Leaving normally between events is a different action from abandoning the run. Use the save and resume guide when you want to stop for the day.
